The HeightsToyCenter was founder over fifty years ago by Mrs. John Tucker under the name of Tuckers Tots, located on 7 th Street in Downtown Little Rock. When the store was moved to Pulaski Heights across from the old Heights Theater it got a new ownership by the Downey family and a new name: Downey Toy Center . In the early 1950's the store was moved to its present location at 5918 "R" Street and given the name Heights Toy Center . In the Early 60's the store was sold, yet again, to the Shelton Family and then to the Bonner family in January of 1967. Those were my grandparents, Royal and Ina Bonner that bought the store when my dad was 5 years old. The Business has been in our family ever since. Today my parents, Greg and Brenda Bonner, are the owners of the business and my sister, Lauren, and I are the third generation to be part of the Heights Toy Center.
